This past weekend brought me back to McClure, my favorite flying spot...Over two days of flying, I had a total of 25 minutes of actual airtime...*gasp*...But, as always, the camping was great and the scenery beautiful as ever...I took the time to explore some of the BLM land around the area and took some pictures of launch at sunset...
Rainman, Glen, and me...
With little bullet thermals and a low lying inversion layer, it made for some challenging conditions...
Saturday I got kicked around in the air for 11 minutes...Sunday I fought my way through 14 minutes of getting tossed around...Each day, though, involved good launches and smokin' landings up the chute, so I was happy. I'm a bit more appreciative of each flight nowadays...
So, I'm still new at scenery shots, but will keep tossing them in when I can, or when my flying weekend results in more picture taking than actual flying...
