Flew Funston for a while on Sunday and experimented with some camera mounting options...still working on the set-up, but getting there nonetheless...
My UP Saturn is camera mount friendly, so I got out the front boom mount for more "full frontal" shots...I like this picture cause it is proof that I do infact clear my turns...
Later on in the day the sun came out, but conditions were a bit ratty in a pre-shear sense. I missed the launch window when the shear did infact roll in, but a few others got in and had a good flight with nice landings in a pretty turbulent LZ...
It's getting to be that time of year again when the sun is setting earlier and we all go into winter flying mode. Mt. Tam, Mission Ridge, and Ed Levin, as well as Diablo will be the sites we'll be having our eyes on in the next few months as winter approaches...
