Wendy and I followed through with our tradition of heading up to Tam for Thanksgiving. We arrived Stinson around 10:30 where I dropped Wendy off for her bike ride to B-Launch. I zipped up in the truck and set up my glider...Wendy arrived at launch in no time...man she's got legs!
Conditions were light and from the WSW. I launched in mild conditions around 12:30 and noticed a significant marine layer a few hundred feet below launch altitude...nothing but sink, but a fun sledder nonetheless. I had the GoPro camera on my glider, but the cool air of that marine layer fogged everything up. Too bad, as I had a fun approach over the surf for a no stepper landing right at the trail head of the breakdown area...
We ate on the beach, had a little wine and watched Wally Anderson float in on his paraglider later on...a great day at Tam.
