McClure was looking good for Saturday, so I made the drive and met up with some local and Bay Area pilots. The thermals were a bit broken up, but if you were patient, you could work them and stay up OK. I potatoed on launch for quite a while waiting for the wind to die down a bit. It was a good call as I think the lesser wind allowed the thermals to do their thing and be a little more uniform. Here's a video Glen Zapien took of me landing...45 minutes.
