Not much flying today due to the rainy weather, so Wendy and I headed into the City for some fun at the San Francisco International Auto Show. It has been a few years since we'd kicked some tires, and I must say, I walked away uninspired with the new models...still happy with my 2009 Toyota Tacoma and Wendy's 2002 Honda Civic...no need to rush to the dealerships!
The Academy of Art had a great display of vintage cars that held my attention, more so than the 2012 models. Below are a few pics of the various models...all works of art, which is probably why The Academy of Art had them on display
1932 Stuz DV-32 Super Bearcat
1935 Auburn 851 Speedster
1938 Talbot-Lago T150-C Speciale Teardrop Coupe by Figoni Falaschi
1963 Buick Riviera
1954 Chevrolet Corvette
1962 MG A 1600 Mark II Coupe
1950 Jaguar XK120 Alloy Roadster
1932 Ford Model B-150 Station Wagon
1961 Lincoln Continental Sedan
1941 Buick Roadmaster Convertible Coupe
1948 Lincoln Continental Coupe
Afterward, we headed over to the 21st Amendment Brew Pub, had a bite and a couple beers...
Fun day kicking tires and having a beer!
