Today is the last day of the Chelan XC Classic...
I have not done much with this week of flying, but am looking forward to being here again next year...in fact, I wish we could stay another week, but it is time to head back to the Bay Area.
This seems to be a flying year where I've put in a lot of driving miles and very little airtime miles...such is the case. Being on vacation is what matters most, and enjoying the flying to be had, good or bad, is appreciated. It's been a lot of fun hanging out with Brian this week.
Life is good.
After flying today, Wendy and I are hitting the road for Bend, OR, spending the night, then heading back to San Mateo from there. We're forgoing the evening BBQ and awards ceremony to make time on the road instead.
Today Maureen and Jerry Valley arrive in San Mateo to visit their son and daughter in-law...haven't seen my parents in 10 months, so the visit will be good.
Sunday I pick up my new Wills Wing T2C...
Life is good...
