This weekend quite a few local Bay Area pilots have been giving the speed gliding course a go...so far the response has been really positive on the layout and speed associated with the course. I'm happy with the results and hoping for nice whether the 30th & 31st.

Today (Sunday) Brian, Wayne Michelsen, and I hiked from the 600' hill to the 1200' hill (start gate location) to reposition some of the poles and tarps that had blown away. It was a nice hike and we got our exercise between the three of us.
This speed course has been putting some smiles on quite a few pilots lately...
