Funston 8.6.09

Headed out to Funston this evening after work and caught a nice smooth shear that took a few of us up to 1300+ feet at Westlake. Very smooth for almost the entire flight, then could feel things shutting down. Mark Lilledahl and I raced back and just made the LZ with little to spare...we flew every last bit of air the shear had to offer...
