Drove about 640 miles today as Wendy and I make our way up to Chelan for the XC Classic. We decided to call it quits in Troutdale just east of Portland off Hwy 84. Camp tonight is a nice air-conditioned room at a Holiday Inn Express with cable TV and internet. This is how we'll be roughing it in Chelan, as well, while at the Apple Inn.
Tomorrow (Saturday) we'll be making our way east on 84 a bit more then hooking up with 97 on up to Chelan. If I'm reading the map correctly, we should have a little less driving and a little more scenery...looking forward to the drive tomorrow regardless.
The flying conditions for Sunday don't look too bad the last I checked. I am anxious to get in the air and try out a new site...
