Wednesday of last week we had a nice mellow shear at the Fort...It wasn't your typical shear as the transition between the southerly air and northerly (shear) air was very gradual and bubbly compared to some of the stronger shears I've flown.
This was an "after work" flight, so I was only up for an hour, but it was nice to watch the sunset while boating around Westlake as all the commuters made their way home. I love catching a "night shift" flight after a long day in the office.
Flight time: 1 hour
Altitude: 1100' MSL +/-
