Funston
I don't have any pictures of my fight today as it only lasted 20 seconds...I launched too early, but had a great flight to the beach with my buddy Brian Foster helping me up with my glider. The day takes on a whole new feeling while breaking down my glider on the beach...I wasn't as restless as I was up at launch and was simply happy to be alive and listening to the surf crash onto the sandy beach...There are times in life when we forget about the simplest of things like a short flight and simply living in the present without distraction or strife...I think one of the main reasons I launched today was to get that feeling of transporting myself to a different area at Funston. The beach combers were there to greet me and it was good...I also knew I wouldn't fly for another 5 days and didn't want 2 weeks to go by without my feet leaving the ground.
